Uncontested

Divorce

The process of divorce does not need to be a drawn-out dispute between the divorcing partners. If a couple has reached an agreement on the terms of the divorce, they can avoid expensive litigation costs in court and enter into an uncontested settlement. This is considered an uncontested divorce.
This, combined with a lack of spousal fighting and discovery requests, greatly reduces the emotional and financial burden of the divorce process.

We Know

It’s Not Easy

We recognize that sometimes the best way to get through your divorce is to allow the process to move quickly—and our office will help you work toward a swift resolution when it’s in your best interest.
To begin discussing a settlement and identify the issues that may be settled quickly, you or your family law attorney should speak early in the case.  Many problems can be resolved with a phone call, and your divorce lawyer should take measures to ensure that the lines of communication stay open.
